The Bemboka Garden Club was established in 1975, with the aim of fostering friendship through a shared interest in gardens and gardening. We hold informative meetings once a month, with guest speakers, problem solving sessions, rose, cut flower, floral art and produce displays, and a light supper provided by members. The program for the year also includes trading table and propagation nights and several excursions. A Christmas party is held in place of the December meeting.
As a group, our members combine expertise in gardening matters, experience with gardening in Bemboka, humour, friendliness, and generosity with cuttings, baked goods and time. This makes for a great welcome to new club members and sustains us as our gardens develop.
